Actually, it really doesn't. The route bullets are from a series of symbols I created in Adobe Illustrator. The LED text is from a font I made a while ago and the complete FIND is just a template I also made some time ago. So everything's right there. I just need to type out the stops, transfers, etc. That's where much of the time is spent on these things. Between making each frame for the animation and stuff, it only takes around ten minutes to create a FIND. Sometimes, it may be a little more because it's a fictional route and/or a very long one, but even then, it's only like five minutes more.

It's really like that for a lot of the subway stuff I do since it's just a matter of changing the text or the size of something.

Even so, take your time on my request. I realize it's a hard one.

This is a one stop destination for all your subway sign needs!

Can I have a 70's style route sign? (Both routes in 70's colors.)

Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens via Rockaway Branch

(A): To Inwood, 207 Street, all times. Late nights, via local in Manhattan & Brooklyn.

(K): To Hannover Sq, Manhattan, all times. Late nights, via local to Houston St-2nd Avenue.

...as well as exterior LCDs for the R142/R142As and R143s (the signs are slightly different from the R160s), but you should not expect them any time soon.
Can I get a (5) R142A sign to Bowling Green? :P

Jokes aside, the easy way to design an exact R142 mosaic sign is to take a pic of a damaged LCD sign, which is very hard to encounter. Another alternative is to take pics of all letters. Whatever suits you better, best of luck.

Also, how different are the R142/R142A and R143/160 fonts? Maybe it's me but they look the same...

Well, for the R142s and the R142As, the main difference between the displays is that the former's route display is a dot-matrix LCD while the latter's is a mosaic. For the R143s and R160s, there are slight differences between the two displays, like a boxier V or a thicker dash line.

Funny thing is, the (A) and (K) were the same colors between '67 and '79 as they are now.

A couple of things: 1) It can't be a Brighton Express if it's making most (Q) line stops. 2) I took some liberties regarding the transfers.

One final note for anyone requesting fictional FINDs: it would be appreciated if you number your stops, especially if the number of stops exceeds, let's say, 25. It helps me so I don't have to keep double-checking to make sure I didn't miss a stop. Thanks in advance for your compliance.
