Here's the exact quote:

One final note for anyone requesting fictional FINDs: it would be appreciated if you number your stops, especially if the number of stops exceeds, let's say, 25. It helps me so I don't have to keep double-checking to make sure I didn't miss a stop. Thanks in advance for your compliance.

Last I checked, fictional means fantasy requests, like trunk lines or routes that don't exist. The (E) via Broadway does not meet that criteria as both the route and the Broadway line are real.

 

One more thing, unless I say something about a particular request, assume it's fine.

 

@BMT West End EXP: Don't listen to these folks. There isn't a stops limit as I really don't care how many stops the FIND requests are. I only posted that guideline in response to a few requests a got a few months ago where the number of stops was ridiculously high.

Once again to reiterate my earlier point, unless I specifically say something regarding a request, assume it's alright. Also, there is no set stop limit for the FINDs. I give an arbitrary number (one I just thought of off the top of my head) for people to list the stops and folks assume I put a limit on them. Guys, reading is still fundamental.

And also @ the above post can you make VIA CHAMBERS ST to VIA CHAMBERS/BROAD ST?

It's okay if you make it as a seperate sequence insert if there's not enough space.

Chambers Street-Brooklyn Bridge

(4), (5), (6), (10), (J), <R>, (U), <W>, (Z).

 

All number line trains should be green, all letter line trains should be brown.

 

Routing signs:

 

1.

Uptown & the Bronx via Lexington Avenue Local

(6): To Pelham Bay Park & Parkchester. PM rush hours <6> trains run to Parkchester.

(10): To 242 Street-Van Cortlandt Park via 7th Avenue Local. PM rush hours, express north of 96th Street.

 

2.

Brooklyn & Queens via Nassau Street Express

(J)/(Z): To Jamaica Center all times. PM rush hours, trains run skip-stop between Broadway Junction & Supthin Boulevard.

 

3.

Brooklyn via Nassau Street Local & Manhattan Bridge

<R>: To Bay Ridge-95th Street weekdays only.

<W>: To Bay Parkway weekdays only.

(U): To Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway except late nights. AM rush hours and off-peak hours, some trains terminate at Crescent Street.

 

It's a bit much, I know, you can take as long as you want.

New FIND Design

I'd imagine that if it was possible to put these in the R110 class of cars, they'd be back-lit LCDs instead of LEDs, similar to the R46 routing and R110B next stop displays. It only shows the next ten stops without any further stops mainly because of stylistic choice but also to date it back to the late '80s-early '90s.
