Posted May 16, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 16, 2010 BRONX RIVER PARKWAY (WABC) -- Two people were killed and four others injured in a serious accident on the Bronx River Parkway on Sunday morning. Police said the vehicle struck a guard rail happened at 233rd street in the Woodlawn section around 6:30 a.m. Five people were thrown from the vehicle, officials said. Another person was trapped in the wreckage and pulled out by the fire department's rescue crew. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Four others were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition. The road remained closed for hours after the accident while police investigated. Jashawn R. Posted May 16, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted May 16, 2010 I saw the wreckage of the car this morning as I was heading to my grandmother's house. It was a 2004-2005 Nissan Altima. The women were thrown from the car, and the two cops were trapped in the wreckage. The two cops died. There were a whole bunch of cops at Montifiore North Hospital today....
