He also has a handle "R-7 SEPTA Local" on the other site which is a dead pos forum that is still alive to this day, Straphangers.org... back then he post lots of current event news crap, replied to me back or are you there post which is annoying, trying to be a mod, etc....

 

Actually, Hudson River didnt get a permanent ban he got a 1 year ban if I'm correct.

To be fair, it started off well and good, but just degenerated over time due to bad moderation [a commie/dictator] that sided with the trolls and banned the decent people for no good reason. Then other sites came in and people jumped ship and moved on.

Now strappies is a ghost town with once in a while useful discussions, but way too many 'where this car should go to that line', etc. What they should do is combine all the subway threads as there's way too many overlaps there especially the Lexington Av and 7th Av stuff etc.

This is one of the rare times that IAWTP. It sucks because I still consider strappies to be my "home" transit website (even though I rarely post there). As hard as it is to believe, strappies was the #1 NYC transit message board from 2001 to 2004.
