Yvonne Farrington, a 52-year-old MTA bus driver was reunited with the dashing Navy ensign she met fleetingly Friday when they exchanged smiles. The chance Fleet Week encounter began a heartwarming story that ended yesterday in friendship, gratitude - and a somewhat awkward peck on the cheek. "I'm going to say all of those things I should have said when we first met when I got on the bus. I want to say thank you for protecting the United States of America," Farrington told the smiling seaman, Ensign Larry Chester, when they were reunited yesterday at Pier 88. Farrington, who is divorced, and the handsome stranger crossed paths Friday as Farrington was heading to work on her M50 bus at W. 42nd St. and 12th.
