The Department Of Environmental Protection, along with Metropolitan Transportation Authority Bridges And Tunnels placed the chicks in a nest atop the Brooklyn tower of the Verrazano Bridge. This after wildlife officials determined the chicks' original home was not a safe environment. The MTA says the [peregrine] falcons already in the nest quickly took to the new arrivals and adopted them.
