Citaro Posted June 18, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted June 18, 2010 We can't have nice trains here, people wouldn't know how to use them without special instruction. - A Imagine we have 462 BR423-Trains (without the regional trains, ICE etc) in service in Germany. You see it everywhere, in each city, each village, so everbody knows how to use it. Many kids ride by train to school. If Obama fights the republicans and invest more on socialized railways, invest more on education, im sure, that every American would know it too. Americans were on the moon, why they couldn't build a modern railway system? You can, but your political and economic system can't.

gregorygrice Posted June 30, 2010 Share #18 Posted June 30, 2010 Maybe in future if Obama will change the country but it's sad that many Americans are against him;) Yea they are. And it's sad because one of the things that he wanted to focus on was high speed rail and getting the country up to date on railroads but other situations have detered him from doing this.
