Hah... "It was just a little nudge".

 

I've seen equipment coupling a bunch of times, and even at those low speeds, the stationary equipment always gets moved a good bit. In the terminal tracks at hoboken this one train was connecting to a cab car parked by itself down near the buffer, and they did it really gently, still it moved a good 6-8 inches forward, then they pulled it back a bit once it latched on. Pretty sure i have recent video or photos of this somewhere.

 

The automatic couplers used on the silverliners also contain the air, so when they couple you get a big loud charge of air along with the nudge forward.

34th St Bus is going south on 3rd Av, west on 32nd St, north on Lex Av.

All of them are going wrong way on one way streets!

I've seen next train timers have totally wrong times a bunch. I think this happens when the timer system & the signal control system stop communication & the timer system doesn't know where the train is.

I just looked at this and I was like, "What the hell"?!

Ladies and Gentelmen... the next Brooklyn 4 bound (L) train will depart in approxamently 1,534 mintues. The following Brooklyn 4 bound (L) train will depart in approxamently 62 Minutes.
