NeoArtic7101 Posted October 24, 2008 Share #10 Posted October 24, 2008 those are some nice shots. I always wondered why septa has those funny looking rear destination signs on the d40's to place ads on the back of the bus. That is the only reason why, which is unique. No other new flyer in america has that. At least you know if you were to ever visit nimco and see low floor new flyers with rear destination signs on the roof of the bus, you know they were septa's new flyers. Lol wonderful photos!!! metsfan Posted October 24, 2008 Share #11 Posted October 24, 2008 Very nice! I love how clean the busses are kept. The volvo articulated & the shorter ones like number 8047 are my favorite. - A

FamousNYLover Posted October 24, 2008 Share #16 Posted October 24, 2008 Thanks guys, I'm glad that you liked the photos. My first ride was SEPTA R-7 ride from Trenton to Suburb, then another day was R-7 to 30th St, #21 bus to 69th St, Market-Frankford Line to 5th St. After fare increase, I took SEPTA R-7 to Market East, #17 bus to 2nd St, #34Trolley from Juniper Station (I couldn't find it easily) to 60th St, #46 to Market-Frankford to Frankford Terminal Center, then #14 bus to Neshimamy Mall, #127 to Trenton. Just looking at picture of SEPTA, I feel like I'm back in Philadelphia.
