The closest I came to owning a motorcycle was a gray moped I had for a couple of years. In S.E. Hinton's novel, Rumble Fish, there is a character named The Motorcyle Boy, the brother of Rusty-James. I used to ride up on the gas tank and held on in between the handlebars. In college (in Cincinnati) I had a Puch moped. The world is fun to explore at 20mph. Then it broke down and I had trouble getting it running again. I would love to have a small displacement motorcycle in the city, when I can afford one.
