AlexLy Posted December 9, 2010 Author Share #53 Posted December 9, 2010 I couldn't choose, all three of them are good choices. Personally, I'd combine options 1 and 2. I hate number 3. AlexLy Posted October 23, 2011 Author Share #69 Posted October 23, 2011 The STM is currently reprogramming ALL of its EPA 2007 Cummins + ZF Ecomat powered LFSes with the TopoDyn system. It's supposed to make the buses shifts smooth for a better ride... Now they're kind of slow at the beginning. The 40-footers now sort of sound like our Nova LFSAs (the ones with ZF 6HP604C). Here's the updated sound of our regular EPA 2007 3rd gens as of today.
TFNetwork Posted December 6, 2011 Share #70 Posted December 6, 2011 A Little update to what is happening around the STM nowadays. The STM has slated all remaining TC40-102N Classics to be retired. The Rumour is December 16th, but it may be extended into the new year because of buses in repairs as to not cause any delays with the back to school. The contract with the unionized bus drivers comes to an end in January 2012, so we might see a strike near May/June if the negotiations don't go well. The STM has donated 1 TC40-102N classic to the FHTCQ, which restores transit buses from the Montreal area. The bus donated was 15-140, which was the last classic ever built and delivered for the STM.
