Grand Concourse Posted June 26, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 26, 2010 I figured yesterday would be the last time I'd get to see/ride them since R46s are going to wipe out most of them, well here's the pics: R44 next to an R46 [all A-cars set - 6252] So I don't care about the R44s, but I can't pass up the chance like I did with the last R40s. bklyntekgeek Posted June 27, 2010 Share #12 Posted June 27, 2010 Took the photos and videos from my ride on the R-44 this past thursday. Glad I was able to catch it going to work and going home. On the way home I stayed on the train till it terminated at Lefferts, then took my photos and videos and took the same train home. The cleaning lady told me the R-46 across the platform was leaving first but I said I'm staying on the R-44 because it may be the last week before they are retired. Glad I was able to get the photo ops while still can. Car number 5460 was my favorite. It was same train I took for my wife's b-day.
