Melvin Posted June 27, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 27, 2010 Nikon D3000 These lenses will auto-focus with your camera and will allow to shoot in low light with high shutter speeds or smaller apertures. The latter has bigger aperture so you could shoot shoot faster in even darker places but is also more expensive. http://www.adorama.com/Als/ProductPage/NK3518U.html http://www.adorama.com/Als/ProductPage/NK5014AFGU.html

R68 Subway Car Posted June 27, 2010 Share #6 Posted June 27, 2010 Get the Sigma 30mm or 50mm f/1.4 lens for Nikon. Great lens and you can take moving train photos underground with clarity.

Good luck taking the Sigma Gamble when you buy something from them. Their QC is up there with Chinese toy manufacturers.

553 Bridgeton Posted July 4, 2010 Author Share #9 Posted July 4, 2010 Can a low light lens with an F/1.8D do the job underground? Or would I need F/1.4? However F/1.4 is faster. But it read review and it said it produces bokeh effect http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/247091-USA/Nikon_2137_Normal_AF_Nikkor_50mm.html#reviews
