Y2Julio Posted June 28, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 28, 2010 The fail is on you. If Uptown & Queens on the 14th St station sign is not "fail" then how is Downtown & Brooklyn via Metropolitan Ave fail? The Don't go to queens. It's Downtown AND Brooklyn Via Metropolitan Avenue which referrers to the going Downtown and the going to Brooklyn via Metropolitan Avenue. The sign is correct and pretty much self explanatory.

Y2Julio Posted June 28, 2010 Share #6 Posted June 28, 2010 Since WHEN is Metropolitan Avenue a trunk line though??? It's to give distinction from it's other Queens end. You know how people are. They need something that says Brooklyn.

For that they could of left it on the (M)s side not for the Downtown & Brooklyn.
iGeMiNix Posted June 28, 2010 Share #8 Posted June 28, 2010 Lol I just noticed that with the Elmhurst sign, apparently there is no local service on Queens Blvd during weekends.
NovaBus 5121 Posted June 28, 2010 Share #9 Posted June 28, 2010 Not saying the MTA is not at fault with the bus signs but if im not mistaken, its the DOT's responsibility at the bus stops to get it right.
IRT Bronx Express Posted June 28, 2010 Share #10 Posted June 28, 2010 And I expencted the new Bx38 to go to Fordham Center. Who knows if the MTA can actually find money to extend the Bx38 there? But then again, they have nothing.

Luis1985 Posted June 29, 2010 Share #16 Posted June 29, 2010 theres alot of signs that hasnt been changed yet. idk whats taking the MTA so long, but its causing confusion to passengers... in Manhattan: They have to change bus signs, especially on the M1, M5, M6, M10 and a few other routes in Brooklyn: B12 bus stops in Brooklyn still says "Cypress Hills" im pretty sure they have other signs in the system havent been changed yet. other subway signs i noticed is the one on Lexington Av-59 St for the Queens-bound train...it says "Late Nights take downtown "(4)(5)" to 51 St for ." One sign at DeKalb Av on the Manhattan-bound Platform for the ( train says "Late Nights and weekends, for 6 Ave take (Blank space) to 34 St for (Blank space)". needs to get their stuff together. Uptown & Queens sign is Not a fail given how thats the IND entrance. The Downtown & Brooklyn via Metropolitan ave IS a fail! Self explanatory? Really? A more honest mistake that would be more "self-explanatory" would be "Via Williamsburg Bridge".
