FamousNYLover Posted June 29, 2010 Share #10 Posted June 29, 2010 Speaking of M98, 17:30 departure from Cabrini Blvd, there was non-speaking English hard to hear elderly lady who wanted to go to W. 190th St got on wrong bus at 178th St/Broadway, GWB Bus Station indicated M98 stop with Bronx Buses. We found out when bus reach around 79th St, and lady show her slip that she want to go to W. 190th St, and I and new B/O on M98 try to tell her that she's going wrong way. She need to go uptown. At 79th St, she try to get another transfer to M79 to take her to 3rd Av for uptown bus, but she denied and refused to change bus. When M98 arrived at last stop, Hunter College, that lady refuse to get off the bus. As in result B/O lost her lunch break, and I told her there's 67th St Police Precint there. While waiting for two more M98s to show up, and also making sure no one think M98 is going down to Midtown, while waiting to make police come to her bus and they took long time. Gotham Bus Co Posted July 1, 2010 Share #12 Posted July 1, 2010 ok i just found out the answer to my own question... its still at MJQ.. i dunno why but ok The M98 is primarily at Quill with a few AM extras out of Manhattanville. There isn't room in Manhattanville for the whole route because of the (M1), (M7), (M10), and lengthened M5.
R32 3348 Posted July 4, 2010 Share #13 Posted July 4, 2010 MJQ has the M98. It's no longer split.
Gotham Bus Co Posted July 4, 2010 Share #14 Posted July 4, 2010 MJQ has the M98. It's no longer split. Check out the route one morning. You'll still see 6 extras out of Manhattanville in addition to the runs from Quill.
