FIND issues with subway changes?

I was riding the (F) to work this morning as usual and caught a train of R-160s. All of the signs on the train's exterior were working properly, but none of the LED maps were working inside, and the LED signs on the ceiling only read "(MTA) NYC Transit".

The automated announcements also weren't working, so the announcements were being made "live" so-to-speak.

I thought maybe it was just an issue with this particular train, but every other (F) I crossed paths with was operating the same way. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the FIND system not being able to handle the new route changes? I thought it was pretty customizable, but maybe not...

Yeah that's right, come to think of it, it needs to announce all the new transfers to the (M). So they need to do it on every train on every line, plus all the signs in each car on the route layout.

I saw the new maps all ready Yesterday in the morning. on the D train. A lot of maps to change out there.

Quoting an MTA press release:

There are still some software upgrades that need to be made on new technology trains so that automated announcements, strip maps and video screens reflect the changes. Bus route information and schedules will be updated. We have several thousand stops to get to in order to change all of the guide-a-rides. We are working closely with NYCDOT to make sure that all affected bus stop signs are updated or removed.

Well, the F.I.N.D. on the (E) and (F) only says route a destination, the route map didn't show and the train c/r had to make annoucments, I believe it went back to normal overnight and on weekends...

Yep, probably since the (M) is only a shuttle on weekends.

Yep, the (M) is also a shuttle on late nights (12:01am-5:01am)...

I never understood why the (M) was a shuttle on weekends, I mean the (5) runs to Bowling Green on weekends. But its probably just there is no demand for extended (M) for decades now and it's a regular thing.

What about the transfer to the (G) on QBL announcement?

Usually when I ride the (E) and (F) on weekends, I don't remember seeing the (G) on there for the past few months. Maybe it is there. But I dunno, it is like it never existed anyways.

I got on an (F) train heading to Coney Island at Jay Street today; the automated announcements were turned off. The finds read "Coney Island -- (F)" and that was it. Heading up from Avenue X the FINDs were turned on until fourth Avenue when they turned them off. At Jay Street they were turned back on.
