553 Bridgeton Posted June 29, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2010 Well the seemed normal to me, there was no need to ride end to end, went as far as to Essex St and Queens Plaza. I ditched it after Queens Plaza... Enjoy! Videos to come soon. While waiting for the ...the &( & @ W 4th St. Now the . Only one shot so far because @ this point it seems normal already! Now off to Queens Plaza.. The NIS R160 Jamaica And the Again Enough with the (M)ish now off to see the ... Astoria Express This could be anyones guess, it was in service tho. Astoria Express seemed to be the pattern, with the serious bunching problems. And to top it off R68A 5156 and there was a R68/A @ 57th Street. Far Rock Depot Posted June 29, 2010 Share #6 Posted June 29, 2010 Great pics, but ick R68A on da I hate those lemons I wouldnt really call them lemons. They Are the heaviest cars in the fleet though. Originally built as single car units as part of the 80s "New Car Fleet", NYCTA engineeres off the success of the R62s felt the B division could take the 62s versitillity and the 75ft length of the last 2 B Div orders. It seemed like a good idea at the time. They are well built IMO, and have over 20yrs of service under their belt now.

N-Trizzy2609 Posted June 30, 2010 Share #16 Posted June 30, 2010 There are about 5 or 6 Sets of R68/As on the and I saw a few go express today. I think there was a signal problem at 39th Avenue because there were a work force of men attacking it.
553 Bridgeton Posted June 30, 2010 Author Share #17 Posted June 30, 2010 Nice pics! Does the really run express in Astoria? No, they had bunching problems from 59th Street to Astoria and trains were late, so they sent (Q)s Express.
