Hello Everyone,

Here are some new NJ Transit photos that I had from the 1990's that my Father took for me years ago.

In the photos of the NJ Transit F40 locomotives #4128 and 4116. The locomotives do not have the Caterpillar Head End Power (HEP) Units. The locomotives are designated as F40PH-2's.

Enjoy,

Eric

I thought Arrow IIIs were not able to go down to Little Silver.

Arrow III MU Cars used to be able to go to Long Branch. The NJCL voltage increase did not occur until after the ALP-46 electric locomotives were bought. Prior to that the North Jersey Coast Line was energized at 12kv the entire way down to Long Branch. Boy a lot has changed.
