In other words, 6545, 6561, 6588 are retired.
Has 6505 been retired or still in storage?

At this rate, I’m not sure if they’re loans or actual transfers. They’re consecutive units so could be a transfer.

I can confirm that 7193 does indeed have ENY decals. So, yes these are transfers from Grand.

3992: Manhattanville to East New York. Working on the B17 at this time.

The point of this is to prevent shortages.

Decals don't necessarily mean they are transfers. We've seen them slap decals on buses one day and get sent back the next.

They're currently in the system as ENY buses, we'll see how long that will last.

7196-7197 are also at ENY.

Yes, you are correct. No dispute on that.  However, just confirming that bus is assigned to ENY.

East New York also took a bunch from Grand Avenue and one from Flatbush:

4814, 7114, 7122, 7193-7197 from GA and 7151 from FB.

Anyone know where 7100 is?

7100 is actually at ENY. It's no longer at GA.

Staten Island....no.
Queens, not likely.

To be fair, those weren't officially their revenue buses until they started losing buses. They sat at their storage yard for weeks.

I find myself looking at/for the depot logos on the buses less & less nowadays.... Too much musical chairs with the things.

Anyway, I probably should have taken note, but during my travels yesterday, there was a bus along the B57 route with about half of the logo flapping in the breeze....

all these moves, be it for mileage purposes or otherwise, are entered into a electronic/computer database, based on compiled data centralized at DOB. these moves aren't based on 2 (or more) general superintendents acting on impulse with loose-leaf binders & sharpies. only way a depot will be "short" or low on buses is if DOB deems it necessary, as in the case of 100 street and Hale for example (capacity limitations & employee parking)
