LGA will be getting D60 artics soon from what im hearing to be on the Q53 and possibly other lines. A couple of weeks ago a friend of mind told me they did a dry run in and out the depot and around 61st and rooservelt, so keep your eyes open cause they coming.

But since I last posted here I am surprised at the latest moves. Did the older 1996 RTSs from FB go to MTA bus? I checked the roster and saw FB was down to just 2 of them. I guess it wasn't much of a surprise that QV took the 9600s from 126th. If the ex Bees are being retired due to the influx of RTSs, then I guess it was nice while it lasted. I will say that the Q35 would be more ideal with just those ex Bees on it since that line doesn't have many slow stop/go points.

If I recall correctly, some of the 1996 RTSs from FB retired with the arrival of their LFSAs.

Um no, actually you won't see any more CNGs coming down to LGA. The RTS invasion from this past weekend pretty much stopped that.

 

No it didn't because there are TWO CNGs that are still coming to LaGuardia. I think #9902 and #9871.

I find it strange that MJQ would send some RTSs to 126th. I mean what will happen to them when 126th is closed for renovation? Imo, I'd have sent some of the displaced NGs from the M34 sbs to 126th and make 126th an all O7 40' bus fleet.

Whoa! I didn't expect some more 5000s to come here. I wonder what will be going out? I mean the 9600s are racking up the miles, but if they go then that would make the avg fleet age very low. (unless it doesn't matter?)
