Hmm. These moves are weird, but interesting. CS losing 6 buses for only one in return. :huh:

but didn't hybrids get pulled out of Casleton cause of some problem?!

Not due to a problem to my knowledge. I was under the impression the NG's moved to allow for the arrival of the 3G's, as well as to allow some older buses at FP to move or retire.

As far as I know, the hybrids got pulled out to bump off other older buses like the older buses at FP and those hybrids got bumped off the same time Yukon was sending them up to FP. If Castleton would've had those problems, Yukon would've had the same.

Bingo! In which Castleton sent over the 4200s to Yukon.

so it was basiclly chess moving?  it wasn't because of a plug at casleton? and i guess the hybrid systems got moved from caselton to charleston?

Not chess moving per se, just reallocation of the fleet.

 

And I positive that Castleton is still equipped to handle Hybrid buses should the need arise.

So QV gets a few more 9600s from FB. I guess QV will be taking the majority of the higher9600s? 

And the good care they have been getting becomes a thing of the past.

Just like the 8400s, once those were moved out they all dropped like flies. I wonder how the ex-ENY RTSs are doing at LGA?

Why? FB just got those in the 3 way swap with UP getting the 9600s and ENY the 40s. If anything is going it's probably the rest of the 9600s so those buses are sent to places that don't have high mileage.
