2082, 2084, 2086-2087 Storage - QV..

12 more or so of those DL3s are College Point bound, not only are they used for regular service, but they are used for extras when other buses are OOS.

So based on that, those four buses being stored at Queens Village are College Point bound.

I need to ride those before they go. You video (Cait Sith) of #1993 finished me off!

They're retiring the ex-Bee Line Orions? Why?

Well, they are 15-16 years old and haven't exactly had the best maintainence.

They're well beyond 15. Up until a few weeks ago, 101 was the oldest regular running bus in the entire system. It's from 1995, so it's about 18 years old.

Well, they HAD the best maintenance for most of their lives lol...

If they were sent to MJQ or such, they could last longer, but even though they were beaten to death at LgA and JFK/FR, I think it was just what anyone could've expected of those buses. I just wished the 8600s RTSs lasted longer if they were all sent to MTA bus instead of seemingly disappearing (of course a few were at FR, but i mean as a whole).
