Wait, don't the buses need DOT numbers since they picking up/dropping off outside of state limits?

That they do, but seeing as this is temporary, that may not be the case.

An RTS or two was on the S61, it was good riding an RTS through Forest Hills Road again lol.

Everybody about to head to Staten Island now that RTS are back on the island.

Right...and when those buses don't go there anymore, ain't nobody gonna go back to the island. Meanwhile, I've been fanning the island regardless of whats out there....

5096, 9658, 5090, 9648, 9569, 9570, 9399, 9623, 9400 equipped with GPS for YU. Since YU can't run buses without GPS they were sent to grand avenue last night to get them activated.. They're only

Doing 10 buses since they send 5 a day to YU so it'll be 5 out of the 10 they'll send.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but I saw 9447 on the B41 on Sunday. Had the FB stickers on. Are they going to push out the rest of the 9600s? And did that bus come from Grand av or UP?

GA.. I saw it about 25 minutes ago on the 41 heading to the plaza. That bus has been at FB for about a week or 2 now.

Saw one of those RTSes (presumably) coming back to UP this evening. It still had the S89 signage on when it turned off Hylan onto Midland, possibly en route to the bridge to go back to UP. This was some time after 7 PM. Didn't catch the number.

Like cboii22 said, the RTS are picked up by Yukon drivers at Ulmer Park for the day, but at night those RTS are returned to Ulmer Park and the Yukon drivers get picked up after that.

Dunno how long it left but 4710 is back at the service center...walked by it yesterday

Ahh.. I see she came back. She took a long journey to New Flyer 1062 miles away lol been gone a month.

Well it seems Flatbush is helping Yukon now. MTA Bus Time shows 4622 and 4630 assigned to the S89.

wtf, so they take flatbushes hybrids but can't take UP's xcelsiors... Those already have GPS so they should've sent those over there. They wasted time putting GPS on the RTSs for now when they had 29 buses with GPS on them already.. Even though they will have GPS on everything come January.

Nah he was a run off he had to go back and they all come in together.. The last 89 is around 7-8pm and they have the buses back in brooklyn by 9pm but they came in a little late last night then 9pm they came about a half hour later..

Yukon operators are not trained to drive the XD40s. That could be another reason why they weren't sent.

Right.. I mean they could train them but that means wasting time.. Give them something they already know how to drive. Well some of them are probably new so they use the new shit nowadays to train the RTSs are phasing out so they use hybrids and other stuff.
