I believe 179 has been OOS for quite a while now, if not already at ECH.

 

I see no one decided to post it, but here's the status with the remaining Orion V CNGs:

 

9899 OOS / Scrap : At ECH

9905 OOS / Scrap : At ECH

9849 In Service: Last day in service is tomorrow from what I hear.

 

Also, I hear CP has two Orion VII CNGs, probably as replacement for the Orion V CNGs.

I heard those Orion V CNG's are done. Orion VII CNG's at CP I cannot believe that one until I see evidence.

Every time someone says it's the last day they keep running. Wait till tomorrow before you jump to conclusions...

Here though, the issue is the tank expiration. CNG and LNG tanks have expiration dates beyond which they cannot be used. Afterwards, the vehicle must be dieselized, re-tanked, or retired.

The tanks expiration date is just around the corner, around ___ __ 2014.

 

Yeah i'll let you fill in the blanks for yourself, not gonna be giving spoiler alerts lol.

Updated, and I think I'm never gonna get an Orion V CNG pic, especially if today is the last day for 9849. Oh well, they were troopers for a long time, they've done their duty as buses and it's time to let them go.

Use one of mine. I have some pretty good photos of them. I'm posting a thread later.
