QV probably doesn't need them for the Summer. It'd probably make more sense to send them into Brooklyn but I'm not sure of what the situation in terms of fleet availability is in Manhattan.

Tuskegee is short as usual (happens every summer) and quite frankly they need to start making service. I mean really, it is no secret that it's hot in the summertime and I don't know why they insist on sending out those old filthy beat up buses with no damn AC. The (MTA) should send them as many new buses as possible for this reason. Let whoever is in control of maintenance get the situation under a control and call it a day.

I'm pretty sure MJQ has more than enough artics, maybe they can give some of their LFSA's.

Some of you guys don't realize it takes a while for buses to retire and some things don't go at planned and most times depots run whatever they have during weekdays (if it's not broken, run it). Just be patient and buses will retire when they retire.

Tuskegee, Grand and Casey may not get any buses for a few days/weeks until the even xcelsiors arrive and last I checked only 6117 was at the facility.

8017 back in service

Ditto for photo proof, and I'm assuming it's the village's bus?

We're aware of all of that, but Tuskegee's problem isn't new.  It's been an ongoing one for years, so you plan accordingly. You can't keep using that as excuse while they run poor service. Ultimately they need to make service, and that's been a main problem for years.

70 buses for SBS and 49 for m14 seems like alot. Given routes like the 23,34, and 79 dont always have alot of buses out at once. But, then again I'm sure some of those D60s aren't always in good shape to go out.

It was a Brooklyn Division depot before it switched over to Queens Division. I guess Queens felt they didn't have enough depots and dragged Spring Creek. (I could be wrong with this)

????????

Queens greedy. They are the only borough with 2 divisions.

But seriously the only thing that goes through Queens is the BM5.

Guess it's a numbers game

They need some spare units in case any of them break down at any moment, hence why you see more units than what are normally used in service.
