From what I’ve noticed, it only runs really earlier in the morning: it starts running at around 7 and goes back to the depot at like 9 or so

In regards to the Q52, that line is currently based out of Far Rockaway, so they're trying to get people used to the artics prior to SBS. They don't have many artics.

Once SBS starts, the Q52 will be moved to JFK with all the artics at their disposal.

Saw 1016 doing driver training on the Bx36 today. So that line is prob getting prepped for artics but then again it does see artics during rush hour so they could just be covering their asses sooner rather than later.
