Obama "Change" Fail!

The Tea Party and Fox News are up to their old tricks. A Conservative blogger, took a government employee's speech, re-edited it to make it appear as if she made a racist comment, then sent it to who?? None other than Fox News! As this woman drove down the street, the administration called her on the phone, told her to pull over, and that she needed to resign immediately! Now, they are reviewing the issue, and are likely to call her back to work.

from NBC News,

The woman ousted from the Agriculture Department over racially tinged remarks that sparked a firestorm in the media said she was uncertain if she would return to her job if invited back.

On Monday, Shirley Sherrod resigned from a senior position with the USDA in Georgia after edited video clips surfaced appearing to show her admitting to racial bias toward a white farmer.

However, when the full video of her speech at an NAACP event was made public, the civil rights group retracted a previous statement condemning her for acting in a racist manner, and said she had been treated unfairly. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack then said in the early hours of Wednesday that he would reconsider the USDA's decision to ask for her resignation.

"I am of course willing and will conduct a thorough review and consider additional facts to ensure to the American people we are providing services in a fair and equitable manner," Vilsack said.

But Sherrod, who said on Tuesday that she was pressured to resign, said on NBC's TODAY show that she might not want her job back.

"I am just not sure how I would be treated there," she said, adding that she couldn't get coworkers to listen to her side of the story about a speech she made in March, edited clips of which were recently shown on a conservative website.

Sherrod said her comments were part of a larger story about learning from her mistakes and racial reconciliation. They were not racist, she said, and were taken out of context.

I would be highly upset, and disappointed in the Obama Administration, and would tell them frankly what they could do with the job. I like you Obama, but this is a fail! You lost come cool points with me on this one. I absolutely cannot stand Fox News! However I do watch their broadcast frequently for entertainment purposes. It's like reading The Post! They should offer college courses on Professional Lying 101, and 202. Nobody does it better than them! Here is a perfect example of some of more than 100 lies that I can think of off the top of my head!!!

Whatever your political leanings are: Obama has added more to the debts, pandered to the far leftists into forcing universal healthcare onto everyone, continued the 'open border policy' [like Bush did]*, continued the war in Afghanistan.

*rather than to try and help change the Arizona law, the first thing he does is to sue Arizona or threaten them to drop the law.

Also I want to add: not doing anything for days and wanting to sue BP than to get every availible resources to cap the Gulf Oil spill. This is far worse and Bush and Katrina [which itself the local goverment in Louisiana did nothing and shifted the blame to the federal government. Does all the school buses covered in water not show how inept the mayor and governor were?].

Holder and Napolitano have both been terrible at their jobs: Holder wanting to hold the 9/11 trials in NYC and Napolitano stating the Times Sq bomber was just an isolated incident. Why these two are still employed is a travesty.

So what change? All I see is Obama putting the US into further debt and wanting to sue rather than to deal with an issue in a reasonable manner.

=

So as all leftists for years calling Bush a failure [which I don't disagree with], I concider Obama a failure as well.

Finally, say what you want about Fox News [yes they were all pro-Bush, which was shameful], but at least they aren't lap dogs to Obama like MSNBC is now. CNN as shitty as it is - is probably the best out of the 3 in terms of not leaning one way or another.

Sorry, but i have to laugh. Universal healthcare is standard here in Europe, that has nothing to do with left politics. Sorry, but it's a shame that people in your country have no access to the best health care. Obama doing his best, but for me as a socialist not left enough.

As a socialist? So good for you if you like the government managing your life from cradle to the grave.

This is America, not the Soviet Union. Sadly Obama and his cronies are doing their best to replicate it.

Oh my God:eek:, in Europe we all managed by our gov, life must be bad here. The gov is helping their own people, that's a big problem. Little joke;)

Yeah, at what cost? Does your country have a military that requires a sizeable portion of the budget?

That's a another point. The gov send you at war (=death), but health insurance (=life) is bad? LOL!

We don't need military here, there is no nation attacking us.

But we have also big and strong armies, not as strong like the US but better than every military in the rest of the world.

Don't forget, we are fighting with you in Aghanistan! And what is your reaction, your media blames the british NHS from your brothers in arms. That isn't sportingly.

Keep telling yourself that.

I'd rather have a military prepared to defend the country than to have affordable medicare. That is life over death, because if you have no military to defend you, what good is the medicare if you aren't alive to have it?

I hope that was a joke too, there is no nation attacking you, you are the only nation in the world which attacks other countries for nothing.

And we have also military to defend us. For some years the US was the biggest enemy of the whole world, he even blames Germany and France and calls us the "old Europe", but for example look at the transit system! The question is, who is the "old"?

I do post sarcasm at times, but I'm semi-serious about that.

Attack countries for nothing? Well granted Iraq was a blunder [blame that on the past administration], Afghanistan was initially because that's where Al-Queda was [now in Pakistan].

Of which world? The Middle east which seems to want to convert the entire world to their backwards religion of the 4th Century?

And what of the transit system? For them in Europe makes more sense to invest in rail systems since their nations are closer together. A country as big as the US, flying or driving is more practical than a long cross country trip by rail. The North East Corridor or DC to Boston is the only revenue maker since a trip on Acela is more convenient than going to the airport.

Not the gov, the people from around the world was against you, the gov have no balls to say that they don't like your old gov, because fear it. The world fears you, not china or russia, you.

The only reasons for that war was economic. Saudi Arabis has sharia law, that is middle-aged. Why the US doesn't fight Saudi Arabi, Bush has supported Saudi Arabia. They didn't fight for religion.

To invest in public transit is a socialistic idea, the conservative are in favor of individual traffic. They are against railways, that's the reason.

The world doesn't have the balls to say it? What about all the anti-Bush etc chants/comments? doesn't sound to me like they had anything to fear by saying that.

So what: you want a rail line to serve every single block and intersection then? Where's the money for that? Realistically you must still build decent roads for individuals. Look at the Autobahn. Would you prefer Germany does away with that? There's only so far you can go with railroads that it becomes impractical and roads are needed.

And there are some rail projects in NYC like the 2nd Av subway, 7 line extension, and the LIRR East side access. So we have a few rail projects going on here.

I never said I was against mass transit. I just pointed out the difference b/w Europe and America in terms of the rails for mass transit. In America it makes more sense to fly than to take the train for long distances. In Europe, nations are closer together and much smaller, so rail makes more sense for them.

The GOV don't have the balls to say it, only their people have balls.

Where is the money? The rich have the money, that workers have developed, because your gov has cut taxes for rich and undermine unions. Look at the gini-coefficent which shows the income inequality in your country! That says all.

I've never said that i am against the "Autobahn" or other transport forms, but you need both. But even our highways have a better quality, because our taxes are higher so that we can constantly modernize it.

By the way, Bush and Reagan has ruined your economy. What kind of propulsion the MTA uses in their metro system? Siemens, Alstom, there is no american company that can compete with foreign companies. Your gov invest more on financial products, war and fighting health care than on the industry, the infrastructure or universal health care.

But for you that is socialism, for us it's reality and we want it.

Why not have a simple balance of both? I don't see why I or anyone should have to choose between being defended against by terrorism or attacking countries or being able to get a doctor to look after me when I get sick. The military isn't gonna nurse me back to health when I get sick and the health care isn't going to save me when someone tries to drop a nuclear warhead on my city.

To boot most veterans don't even get taken care of properly after they come back from a war. So this whole argument is really stupid. We need a health care system that works for everybody. Military people need to be healthy to fight for us. Its all interconnected.

Same puppet different head, did you really think voting changed anything? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Time to realize that corporations run not only America but the entire world and we are totally powerless to change that.
