My favorite megastructure is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. It is the tallest skyscraper known to man. If I were to talk about it's height(2,717 ft.,818 m.) it is more than 1,000 ft taller than the previous world's tallest building, Taipei 101, which is currently 2nd on the tallest buildings list. Not many buildings as is are built over 1,000 ft tall. So in reality you could place the Chrysler Building on top of Taipei 101 and get a building that's shorter than the Burj Khalifa. This building is 217 higher than the height you would get from 2 ESB's(Empire State Building is 1,250 ft tall, 1250*2=2500, 2717-2500=217)

My favorite is the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.It is a hotel,casino,a sky park and a pool.
