N-Trizzy2609 11 Posted July 23, 2010 Share #3 Posted July 23, 2010 The Fastest Way Uptown The Movie. Starting my friends Lindsay Rosenthal and her boy friend, Luke. (Lots of SEPTA subway and regional rail action with a helping of a few Amtrak trains and a ride on the Regional and trains.) In case you're wondering, The Fastest Way Uptown is my romantic comedy book that has alot of transit in it. In fact, the name itself is a nickname for the Broad St. Subway. EE Broadway Local 18 Posted July 24, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted July 24, 2010 No harm or offense (I hope) meant. The Transit Channel (TTC) doesn't exist as a cable channel. Noticing cable channels such as The History Channel, Animal Planet and TV Land, I created a fictional cable television channel that shows transit-related programming and did a Monday through Friday primetime grid with local Metropolitan New York City transit related programming included. Thanks to those who included ideas for future TTC Movie Of The Week Movies (67th Avenue and N-Trizzy2609) And thanks to Daniel The Cool fpr letting me list him as host of Transit Videos With Beautiful Music. 70(EE)

Ms. W Supporter 0 Posted July 26, 2010 Share #9 Posted July 26, 2010 This is an awesome idea!! I have something to contribute: Track Stars: In each 1 hr episode, a train gets interviewed about its opinions on its job, the MTA, the passengers, etc. Personal accounts and anedotes ensue.. This week features the and its account about a homeless man that threw a filled water bottle at it...and its brother ©'s constant complaint of running local. Roadcruiser1 286 Posted July 27, 2010 Share #10 Posted July 27, 2010 Sunday could be about International or National transportation and people from home in the US could take a ride on the London Underground on TV. Or there can be a High Speed Rail special that talks about the Acela Express and other high speed rails. Or a show on how to improve the and other transportation and how to take care of the budget of the systems. Plus a 30 minute opinion about your subway system and how you can improve it!. Daniel The Cool 3,771 Posted July 27, 2010 Share #12 Posted July 27, 2010 There should be a NYC Transit Forums official radio station called the Transit Channel:tup:
Roadcruiser1 286 Posted July 27, 2010 Share #13 Posted July 27, 2010 Nah we should create a cable TV channel. Imagine the worldwide rail fans. Who knows even female rail fans might think of us. We could even give life to a new generation of worldwide rail fans. I even suggest that we should make kids shows for the little and teenage kids so they might think a little bit more about their subway. You know how ladies chase the celebs that could be all of us!. Plus how would the world know us if we are just on radio. Then we will all marry one of the ladies we choose and then we will use the money. Ms. W Supporter 0 Posted August 3, 2010 Share #17 Posted August 3, 2010 Track Stars: This week, we focus on the little who feels under appreciated by both the MTA and its passengers. It asks the question, "Where are my fans?!" To emphasize the under appreciation of the , we cut its time short and move on to the . It discusses being demoted to a local train (and it hates running local). It has senioriety so the should be the local one here. Also how the new train (style) is moving in and taking ol' (N)'s job.
