They are not "next gen" New Flyers, those are the New Flyer Xcelsior Models. Unlike the Orion 7 Next Generation, the Xcelsior is a new model in itself and is seperate from the standard LFA/LFR models.

Sorry for the technical mistype. When I say Next Gen, in terms of New Flyer, I mean ALL NEW. It's a new model, and new generation of bus. I didn't mean that as in being related to any other model. ie current LF®'s! So technically speaking, this IS the Next Generation of New Flyer.

I bumped this thread for those of you that may not know what the XD40/XDE40 looks like. Note New Flyer will drop all LF designations for all new, and next gen buses as it is no longer needed.
