TwoTimer Posted July 27, 2010 Share #26 Posted July 27, 2010 In this case the information is more helpful, seeing as a rollsign can display trunk line color. And tourists sometimes doesnt know to read signs in the station, and often they don't know which terminal the train is going to on the rollsigns, which display both end. Digital displays have either or. I always thought those NTT should have came with multicolored LEDs on the end so at least the trunk color came thru on the ends of the train. Eric B Posted July 27, 2010 Share #27 Posted July 27, 2010 People seem to need to be taken by the hand and led where they are going. The only thing that would seem to help them is holographic signs spitting the directions at them every where you turn.

SubwayGuy Posted July 28, 2010 Share #31 Posted July 28, 2010 Digital signs because foamers can't f**k with them. Plus they tend to have more interesting readings in their "programs" than rollsigns do in their uh, rolls.
TwoTimer Posted July 28, 2010 Share #32 Posted July 28, 2010 Even something the size of the FIND inside the car is sufficient.
yoochun Posted July 28, 2010 Share #33 Posted July 28, 2010 a few mentioned rollsigns being better because they show the trunk line color... but i dunno. before i even had an interest in transit, it never occurred to me that lines of the same color traveled along the same lines. i just knew what letter would take me places... so i don't really think that showing different colors would be any more helpful. personally, i don't really care either way lol. although the colors do look pretty
