My God that's my childhood right there (I was grown when those pics were taken lol)! I miss THOSE RTS's the most. The engine, the sound of the doors squeaking when they opened, everything about them. Real buses if I ever rode on any. I can't wait to see the next batches

Woah , those are old pictures , i miss the jamacia rts nova buses , i used to ride them when i was little , i remember these buses you took , those were the ones with out pipes in the back and the exhaust was in the back on the bottom , ulmer park had some 3900s . Good shots David

I can't get over these pics!!! All I can think about is air brakes, air emergency brakes, air when the door opens, the air "tussss!!!" sound when the air pressure releases...... and the best damn Detroit Diesel engines ever conceived!!:cry::cry::cry: God, I'm almost 30!!!

 

When 5249 retires, I'm letting everyone know now that I'm going to be away from the forum on Medical leave so i can grieve! As a matter of fact....... I think I need to be alone right now........:cry::cry::cry:
