Which is the case for R44s. With R46s the rope thing is closed.

2 Train Master Posted August 3, 2010 Share #15 Posted August 3, 2010 Yes that was an R44 ways to tell the difference is 1.R46's rollsigns are HIGHER and BRIGHTER than the R44's that's how you can tell if you see an R44/6 (A)/© coming. 2.Brake Release R44's are more unique 3.Idle sounds 4.Full Service(R44's have a squeak) 5.That Stripe(carbon)R44 6.Propulsion R44's howl like the fat asses(R68's) and R46's are much quiter. Nice shots anyways. Yes there was an R46 stint last week Wednesday.

Good question, since there are no major yards out there. Schoolcar? It's testing something since that is the system's test track. Last week there was an R62 testing an ECam from the R44s.
