New guy here

hello everyone, im new here to the forums and a huge train fan for the past couple of years.And i am also intrested in working for the train transit in NYC.I was wondering what i have to do to get in as a operator.I pretty sure i have to take the civil service exam, but im not sure when its held and how the whole thing works??Ive all ready made the first step by purchasing the motorman exam study book from B&N.
