hoodciti Posted August 9, 2010 Share #3 Posted August 9, 2010 This isnt so much a cut but just the simplifying one of the most confusing bus routes in the city... The separating of the queens runs from the Bronx-only runs will help riders quite a bit. I believe the bronx only runs for the most part are already operating out of Eastchester. Also arent the peak service shuttles being eliminated or reduced?
East New York Posted August 9, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 9, 2010 Yeah, you're getting ahead of yourself here. Bx23, and Q50 will be MTAB for the time being. Once the divisions merge, lots of routes will be swapped. But it doesn't apear that will be anytime soon. And yes LGA is supposed to be getting 2 routes. For everything else, we will have to play the waiting game.
GreatOne2k Posted August 10, 2010 Share #5 Posted August 10, 2010 Bx23 needs to be MTA BUS, if not, MTA won't be able to afford to pay for it without the reimbursement.
T J Trainman Posted August 10, 2010 Share #6 Posted August 10, 2010 There are no changes to LGA for the fall pick that I am aware of. The Q-50 & the Bx-23 will both be MTA Bus.
