DOB2RTO Posted July 13, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 13, 2007 Hmm...hard to think about and choose, but it would be the or the . The 5 even though as a supplement to the 4, gets packed during the rush at 180st. I took the 2 train from 241st to Hoyt St. in Brooklyn. The 2 was packed until 180st. The people left the 2 in waves, and that 5 train already packed, was crush-loaded then. The 3 train I would go with.

My home station is below 180th, and although it's serviced by both the and the , the skips it during rush hours. PATCOman Posted September 11, 2007 Share #8 Posted September 11, 2007 Well a few times I was on a crowded 3 train, however most of the time, the 3 is pretty empty since 1. most of the people get off at Utica for the 4, and 2. most of the people get off at 96 Street for the 1 and it does not travel as far as the 2. If I am going to 135 Street and I want a seat and a crowded 2 comes first, I'll pass up the 2 and wait for a 3.
