Now that 1200-1289 NovaBus LFS are on the Bx12 and M15, whats goin to happen for the rest of the 10xx and 11xx. The rest of the New Flyers are on West Farms but, what will happen to the rest?

 

*Is it converted to MTA BUS?

*Will they all get scrapped or send them to West Farms?

To my understanding, all but 20 will be scrapped. Those 20 will go to Baisley Park for future service.

Me too, according to the TTMG Roster there will be 20 Orion V from BeeLine left

No, not to offend anyone but i think they will be ruined, the Q113 already used artics before, the only bus in my opinion that would need it would be the Q6

No i meant if 20 artics from the bronx replaced 20 orion v in BPD then 20 would be left

I'm all for BP getting artics, I only rode them 4 times and each time was only going a few blocks. -__-

 

It's about time they aren't restricted to Manhattan & The Bronx. There's crowded lines in every borough.

I saw some 10xx on the Bx19 and Bx15.

 

There's a few still at 126 St

There are still D60HF's at 126 because there aren't enough LFSA's at 126th for the M15 to be fully LFSA.

I wish the MTA would've overhauled the 1000-series Artics...the way they did the GMC RTSs....The City needs all the artics it can get.....they could sent some to JFK for the Q6 which needs them BADLY.....Also Brooklyn could use some Artics.....

You're thinking 100th Street Depot. 126 is composed of 1000-1100s, 1200s & two 5600s, 5634 & 5635, we lost 5636 and 5644 to West Farms.

Then we have conflicting reports here...we're told by trusted people here that only 20 1000-series artics are going to be saved and all are going to BP the rest are getting scrapped....

 

Where are JFK's coming from again??????? I guess 5300-series are going to be shipped to JFK then?!?

It's my understanding MTAB will get LFSA's in the future as well. I think they should get a batch of 5200's and LFSA's, and they will be good for a while.

I think those are the 40ft'ers like the one testing out of JFK and UP for a while...

Future artic orders are most likely going to have some reserved for (MTA) Bus.
