East New York Posted August 18, 2010 Share #26 Posted August 18, 2010 I know but I've only heard about MTAB getting 40ft'ers of the LFS in the future, but if they are getting LFSA the Q6 needs'em first since BP will have the 1000'series. From what I was told, they will get both!
RokuSix Posted August 18, 2010 Share #27 Posted August 18, 2010 A good hunk may be found at Eastchester, while a couple are in Gun Hill.
Mysterious2train Posted August 18, 2010 Share #28 Posted August 18, 2010 Wait, why would Artic buses be stored at Eastchester depot? Doesn't it have Express buses and the QBx1/Bx23 only? Well I'm not all that familiar with that depot, though. Or was this 40-foot buses instead?

Grand Concourse Posted August 23, 2010 Share #30 Posted August 23, 2010 I wish the MTA would've overhauled the 1000-series Artics...the way they did the GMC RTSs....The City needs all the artics it can get.....they could sent some to JFK for the Q6 which needs them BADLY.....Also Brooklyn could use some Artics..... Uh, no. The only artics that should go to Brooklyn are the 3-door ones. The 2-door ones are not going to cut it for lines like the B46 and such. Not to mention the spike in farebeating due to people still exiting from the front rather than to move to the back and get off.
