New Jets/Giants Medowlands Stadium opens

Unless you been on another planet for last 3 years, the Giants and Jets are now playing at a brand new 80,000 seat stadium. Tonight in a prime time warm-up game on ESPN 8/16/10 the stadium hosts it's first NFL game.

Anybody got tickets to any of the Jets/Giants game this season? Plus for the first time ever direct train service between NYC/Most of New Jersey and the Meadowlands as well.

 

Just couple of weeks later in week #1, of the 2010 Regular Season opener, both team open at home. The Giants on that Sunday and the Jets that Monday Night.

 

So guys what should this new Stadium be called? Offically for now, it's know as Meadowlands Stadium aka Giants Stadium '2'. With the Super Bowl coming to that building in couple of years from now, it will likely be named after a Fournate 500 comapny.

 

Personally, I think this new stadium should be name after either the Giants long time Owners the Mara Family or even after NFL Coaching Legend and NY/NJ native Vince Lombardi.

The Giants are winning against the Jets, 31 to 16. Maybe because of this win they'll rename it Giants Stadium.

Sunday is the official regular season debut for New Meadowlands Stadium. :tup:
