Does this have anything to do with the re-opening of the Express Tracks At Ocean Parkway? Any information would be greatly appreciated... Pablo M 201 Posted March 22, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 22, 2008 Probably switch work around Brighton Beach, either before the station or between Brighton Beach and Ocean Parkway. Guess we'll have to wait til someone who really knows or next weekend when the G.O. really happens.

So every other (Q)uincy terminates at Brighton Beach.
trainfan22 Posted March 22, 2008 Share #4 Posted March 22, 2008 They had that G.O a couple weeks ago where some trains turn at brighton beach. Because i was on one of those trains that short turned at brighton beach. They had an SBK locomotive with some work cars stored on one of the line tracks at stillwell.... Brighton Local Posted March 24, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted March 24, 2008 So, shouldn't the G.O. Read : The Last Stop for Some Coney Island Bound Trains is Brighton Beach. Notifying passengers that its a 2 segment operation states, ALL Trains terminate at Brighton Beach, with a connecting (S)huttle to complete the remainder of the route. Just a more clearly stated G.O.
