trainfan22 Posted March 22, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 22, 2008 The time they had that G.O with the and lines. It seems like 239th st yard sent the crappyist R142s to do the brooklyn leg of the G.O for the . Those sets were bucking on first notch!!!. I think that the dispatchers should use the lines R62s for the brooklyn leg of the line. And let some of those R142s rest up in the bronx. Since it seems like the R142s need an SMS or something should just let them relax in the yard. And other good thing about this G.O that there will be an R62 train for sure. At least three to four sets at most and there might even be an R142 train!! As for the other G.Os nothing special, however, the (D)s over the Sea Beach might be cool... Brighton Local Posted March 23, 2008 Share #5 Posted March 23, 2008 I would like to know, why the (Q)uincy is split.
trainfan22 Posted March 23, 2008 Share #6 Posted March 23, 2008 I would like to know, why the (Q)uincy is split. Because of some track work at stillwell so they have to park the work train on one of the line tracks at stillwell. So that leaves only one track open for trains at stillwell they turn some trains at brighton beach So stillwell wont get congsted....
