Trainspotter Posted March 23, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2008 MTA To Begin Local Bus Rider Report Cards Now that straphangers and express bus riders have had the chance to grade their lines, local bus riders are being given the opportunity to do the same. New York City Transit says beginning Monday, Rider Report Cards will be handed out to customers of all local Staten Island bus routes. The program will later be expanded to all boroughs. The report cards will be distributed at major transit hubs like the Eltingville Transit Center and the Saint George Ferry terminal. Bus routes will be graded in 20 different categories, including cleanliness, wait time and seat availability, as well as overall performance. The MTA says it has already implemented improvements on subway and express bus lines based on the results of rider report cards. Brighton Local Posted March 23, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 23, 2008 The Staten Island 30 minute headways definitely needs to change!
Pablo M 201 Posted March 23, 2008 Share #3 Posted March 23, 2008 Hehe, ppl gonna have lots of fun with these. I know I'm going to grade these lines harshly but fair enough that its logical with how a usual trip on the route is. NJT should do that with its bus lines..... sebbieprops Posted March 24, 2008 Share #5 Posted March 24, 2008 I'd like to see them handed out on the Bronx routes. If the Bx19 gets anything better than an F, I'll be shocked.
