Wow!:cool: Excellent shots from one of my favorite depots! I rode with that B/O driving 9308 on the Q33 one time. I miss LGA! I gotta get back over there soon! :tup::tup::tup:

What parkway is that in the 5th or 6th picture? I can see some signs....

 

And what does "Raise Tag Axle to Enter Property" mean? Maybe KR could help.

 

That could be the Grand Central Pkwy or Astoria Blvd, one of the two for sure.

Thanks, it's the Grand Central Parkway and the tag axle has something to do with steering, more info here.

Hey Melvin some slammin 23 ave pics those LGA RTS s still look good . That is the Grand Central Pkwy where I drive through when coming from Harlem everyday sigh

As for the Tag Axle getting locked in or Raised , That's the Tires in the rear that turn with the bus to give it the turning ratio it needs .
