To brighton local: that is correct! i don't know what those things that their covering up is though, looks like the MTA must be hiding something from us lol

Maybe a better grip between the wheels and rails for acceleration, when the trains takes off.? I know they use sand or something like that on the Brighton Line & (MTA) Staten Island Railway.

Nice pics. I'm guessing that was a pillow that got hit, or maybe a bag of ice... I dunno. Those R68s sure are shiny, aren't they?

But the case with this shot:

Heres what you could've done. You could've taken a few more stops back and then shoot. OR, you could've waited one or two more seconds and shoot when the back of the train is past the signal. Just my $0.02.

Great stuff, E! Pablo gave you spot on advice about that signal. Just keep your eye in the screen/viewfinder and watch the train go by. Click when it's hot!:)
