I got bored yesterday and decided to do some railfanning. Didn't do much though since i didn't have that much time but at least i got some pics & videos:

i don't think its salt, it looked more like feathers, maybe 20 pigeons got ran over there lol

Maybe a better grip between the wheels and rails for acceleration, when the trains takes off.? I know they use sand or something like that on the Brighton Line & Staten Island Railway.

Heres what you could've done. You could've taken a few more stops back and then shoot. OR, you could've waited one or two more seconds and shoot when the back of the train is past the signal. Just my $0.02.
