New Feature At Wikipedia

[EE Broadway Local 18]

As you may know, Wikipedia isn't perfect, but this new feature is nice.

 

On several of Wikipedia's pages that describe our subway stations, under External links there is a direct link to Google's Street View photograph of the entrance/exit to/from that station.

 

For example: the Utica Avenue page has a link for the Utica Avenue entrance and for the Stuyvesant Avenue entrance.

 

The Livonia Avenue page has a link for the Livonia Avenue entrance.

 

Not all of the subway station pages have this feature. These show a small street view photo at the top.

Not really a new feature 70(EE), just a few members there linking to the GMaps location of the station entrances.

It does help when your gonna be goin to a neighborhood your unfamiliar with. Good find 70(EE)
