For subway hero Francis Lusk, saving a woman's life is all in a day's work

The hero motorman who stopped a train just feet from a woman sprawled on the tracks and leaped down to her side was too busy to be feted Sunday.

 

Francis Lusk, 36, was at work, driving the N train.

 

Lusk was so modest about saving Nina Webster's life Saturday morning that when he came home that evening, he didn't mention anything to his dad.

 

"He went out to get Chinese food, and the phone rang. It was the TA. I said, 'What the hell did he do now?'" recounted the hero's dad, Francis C. Lusk, 74.

 

"They said, 'Your son's a hero.'"
