Scratch that i just made something and i think it looks pretty good now my question is that if i save the thing as a template how will i be able to put it in TRS2006 and will i need like 3DMax or something to get it in trainz?

Because one doesn't cover the length of the platform.

It does just the people don't.You have to adjust the length of the platform to the length of the train. So the M7 is 85 feet and you have an 6 car consist the platform should be 85x6=510 feet then convert it to meters which equals 155.4 meters. So set the platform length and then edit the invisible station to 175 meters so all the doors will open.

FYI: I had to experiment this with the R46's I know are '75x8=600 feet.I converted and got like 183m I believe and the doors in the last car wouldnt open so I changed the invisible length to 200m and it opens.

What's the station called and is it on the DLS?

The station is a mix of objects found on the DOWNLOAD STATION. Search Modern UK Utility Platforms, find a nice fence, find some good looking buildings, and bam, you have what you have in that picture. The thing is, you have to make it yourself.

By the way, NEVER use Content Manager to find content as it usually misses about 75% of the content on the actual DLS. Use this to search for content:

http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS.php

Find the thing you want to download, click it a box should pop up, then click direct download. It should download onto wherever you saved it in and then drag it onto CMP and commit the assets. If it's too complicated, then just look it up.

And by the way, listen to what 2trainmaster says as multiple invisible stations messes things up as only one section of the invisible station will have its doors open. You have to right click it in surveyor and then set the settings.

No problem. Happy New Years to everyone!

It's easy for me to get things from Sketchup into Gmax where I can edit them. You should add textures in Gmax for ease but that's a whole new level.

I've also created my fair share of elevated stations. In Sketchup:

Now in Trainz as a spline:

Island in Sketchup:

Textured in Trainz as a spline:

Now all of them create a terminus:

And for the station house:

In IM Viewer:

I'll make these viewable in a few days when Photobucket's bandwith limit resets.
