BklynBoy 0 Posted September 8, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2010 Hi All, We had to visit Manhattan yesterday for business and wanted to return to Brooklyn by Express Bus. The route near our home is the Express X28. I thought there was a stop at 52nd Street and 5th Avenue to pick it up. I did in the past board a bus there. The first stop I know is at 57th Street between Madison & 5th Avenue. Sorry we did not walk to Madison's stop. Yesterday we search for 52nd St X28 sign and could not find it. We had to walk all the way down to 44th Street. Was that stop deleted, moved or did we just missed it. I think the Manhattan bus stops are on blue signs and express's are green. Could someone help us for the future.
FamousNYLover 578 Posted September 8, 2010 Share #2 Posted September 8, 2010 Accordding to bus schedule, both X27/X28 has stop at 5th Av/52nd St, it's properly on South Side due local buses take 53rd-52nd Sts. From my experinece from riding local bus, I have seen X27/X28 pull over on 52nd-51st Sts by CitiBank. Also, please be advise there is no X27/X28 on Weekends. For example, my home stop LGA-bound Q72 bus stop at Junction Blvd/37th Av are hidden by pole, so when bus comes I had to stand by it, even with hot day or cold day.
