Here are 2 shots I took today of 3006 today on 241st.

 

The driver in front is not the driver of the bus. He is a MTA Bus driver who wanted his pic taken with the bus. The driver of 3006 was also in MTA uniform.

Yeah i miss the classics too i aways remember them going up and down flatbush ave for command bus. Now its just the MCI D4500 these days....

Ah 3006, one of my good Liberty Lines compatriots. I gotta get cool with Yonkers people, I can't believe that after living in Riverdale around Liberty Lines/Yonkers bus operators all my life, I never kept in touch with any of the guys there, like getting the run number/run times so I could chill with em. On the other hand it was harder to have conversations with them when I was much younger several years ago...

Is that driver an ex-Liberty Lines driver? From the photos, he gives me the impression that he used to either work or drive for them.

Awesome, I thought that they was just parked @ depots for show, but now I see they take them out to show off everywhere else every now and then.
