okay.. so here's my fantasy track map of the new Jerome Avenue Line

(3)-Jerome Avenue Local to Woodlawn, all times except late nights

(4)-Jerome Avenue Express to Bedford Park Blvd, all times

you can also notice changes at 145th St on the (1) and (3) and 135th St on the (2)(3)..

Not bad, but what would do better is keep 148th Street and have the (3) turn north on 7th Avenue and head via 155th Street bridge or something.

As a Met fan, thanks for knocking down Yankee Stadium.

LMFAO! xD Same here ;)

(3) to Woodlawn is the most popular (3) improvement/expansion I know off, but can't the (4) be the 24/7 Jerome Local and the (3) be rush hour express since the (D) already provides Westside Access.

But after several times of playing w/ fantasy maps, I'll seperate Harlem-148th St from the subway system and turn it into the new transit museum and connect the Dyre Av (5) to the Pelham (6) line (between Whitlock and Hunts Point Aves) and have.....

(2) 241st to Brooklyn College - White Plains EXP

(3) Gun Hill Rd to New Lots Av - White Plains Local

(4) Woodlawn to Brooklyn Bridge - Lexington Av Local

(6) Pelham Bay Park to Utica Av - Lexington Av EXP

I remember sending the (3) line manager a suggestion about including a "Lenox-Jerome" tunnel starting immediately after 145th St on the Lenox and north of 149th St-GC on future capital projects but that was about 2 years ago though. This would require very sharp turns and grades so I understand why I still don't have a response.

Don't forget the unspoken rule that (nearly all) fantasy maps adhere to: an express and local service must maintain their relationship wherever they are together; if the (3) is local in Brooklyn with the (4) being express, it must be the same in the Bronx and anywhere else where they share a line.

Oh!!!...... it makes since too, cause the (2) is local in the Bronx w/ the (5) express and it does the same in Brooklyn. Ok, I get it now

yess i could make the (3) turn after 161st but i really wanted the old polo grounds ramps to be used..i dont just want them to go to waste..if they can still be used why not let them?..also i have thet like that so that a late nights when the (3) won't need to run you can have a shuttle between 135th and 161st without disturbing the (2) or (4) trains..did you not notice the new configuration at 135 and the new terminus track just south of it...lol

Ok this is the first fantasy map I commented on so here goes...

1. Where is Harlem-148 St?

2. You do realize that the area by 148 St is damn near at sea level (not streel level) so how would the (3) get to the Bronx without using some sort of steep grade?

3. The area where the (3) & (4) connect is now part of the new Yankee Stadium so how would the (3) get to the Jerome line without going through the stadium itself?

4. WHERE IS HARLEM-148 ST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm all for extending the (3) (somehow) but to the Bronx? Naw

okay so to answer your question fresh pond

harlem-148th street is being converted back to part of the lenox yard

instead the 145th street station is being extended to full length..

the 161st street station on the (4) train has been moved further south hence the new platforms..the old 9th avenue el ramps will keep continuing to just south of the new stadium where it will turn and make a stop at 161st

possibly instead of the (3) train using a tunnel to cross the harlem river, i was thing of a new bridge instead and as soon as the train enters manhatten it will go back underground

idk thas why itz called a FANTASY MAP??? :P

I used to think the (3) should go to Woodlawn to match w/ how the (2)(5) operate in the Bronx.... but 2009 and now... I know the (D) would pretty much provide the equivalent service of a (3) extension. Extending the (3) past Harlem-148th or 145th Sts, is one of those endpoints that it's not worth extending. Connecting the (3) to the Jerome Line is gonna be mad!!!!! expensive.

The (3) can get extended but would have to go deeper underground. Id just push the (3) to the Broadway Line to 242nd..

That'll sounds just about as real as it gets since Lenox Terminal is only 4 blocks away from the Broadway Line ...... when ever Court St museum runs outta room for trains, I'm uncertain to shutdown 148th and 145th Sts and turn Lenox Yard into the subway museum cause that's to many negative local impacts if that's done.
